Frequently asked questions

Questions before you deploy.

A practical overview of how Ultma approaches enterprise workflows, Agents, integrations, models, controls and customer data.

/01

The essentials, answered plainly.

Deployment details are confirmed for each workflow, architecture and customer agreement.

What is Ultma?

Ultma is an enterprise AI deployment platform. Its Deployment Agent investigates a target workflow, designs the required system of Agents, tools and controls, and supports deployment into business operations.

Do we need to build our own Agents?

No. Your team defines the business outcome, process knowledge, systems and constraints. Ultma is designed to translate these requirements into a deployment plan and configured Agent workflow.

Is Ultma a chatbot?

Ultma can use conversational interfaces, but the product is designed to deploy and operate governed workflows across authorised systems, not only answer questions in a chat window.

Can Ultma work with our existing systems?

Ultma can connect to approved systems through available APIs and connectors. The exact integration, permissions and data flow are agreed and tested for each deployment.

Which AI models does Ultma use?

Ultma is designed to be model-neutral. The models available to a workflow depend on customer requirements, provider availability, data policies, deployment architecture and evaluation results.

How do you keep people in control?

Workflows can include human approval, escalation, pause, override and rollback points. The required controls depend on the action, data sensitivity and impact of the use case.

Where is customer data processed?

Processing locations depend on the approved cloud, model, connector and support configuration. Ultma documents relevant providers and data flows for each production deployment.

Do you use customer data to train AI models?

The applicable treatment of Customer Content is defined in the customer agreement and provider configuration. A no-training commitment applies only where it is technically and contractually enforced across the full approved service.

How long does deployment take?

A focused pilot can often be structured over approximately eight weeks, subject to workflow complexity, access, risk review and customer availability.

Can we start with one workflow?

Yes. Ultma recommends beginning with a narrow, measurable workflow, validating business value and controls, and expanding only after the evidence supports it.
